As you all know, 18 May was a good day for planet earth for on that day, Barbara was born. Since nothing gives Barbara greater pleasure than going to markets, or in English terms, Car Boot Sales, what could be better than going to another...
As a special birthday present, therefore, J&L took us to the largest Car Boot Sale known to them. This car boot sale was recommended by Jenny and so off we went. North and west towards London.
▲Approach the table circumspectly, knowing that surprises lie in wait -usually good ones. However. Optimism is vital. Opportunity is the domain of the positivist. If you expect nothing you will not be disappointed. On the other hand, to the trained eye, theres gold in them thar car boots.
Here are some shots of J&Ls home. This is the 'before' state in the 'do-up' process.

J&L worked hard here all day getting ready for concreting.
The back door. The one we use most of the time.
The garden is very pleasant.

▼This very interesting little house is just in front of J&Ls. When its done up as well it will add greatly to the value of all the properties in the area.
Barbara working hard at the computer keeping in touch with everybody.
In this video we are traveling down one of Britain's motorways heading for the car boot sale on Sunday in the pictures above. The speed limit is 100mph. That makes our Kiwi motorway speed limit of 100kph seem pretty tardy. Note: This is quite a large video (9mb) and may take a wee while to download. (If you save it to disc you can play it later in Windows Media Player with no difficulty. It's in .wmv format.)
Take care, love from J&B in the UK.
